"lets overcome the devil with a thing called love"

one good thing about music,
is when it hits you feel no pain

Music is a beautiful opiate,
if you don't take it too seriously.
- Henry Miller

I think music in itself is healing.
It's an explosive expression of
humanity. It's something we are
all touched by. No matter what
culture we're from, everyone
loves music. - Billy Joel

Music washes away from the
soul the dust of everyday

Music creates order out of chaos:
for rhythm imposes unanimity
upon the divergent, melody
imposes continuity upon the
disjointed, and harmony imposes
compatibility upon the incongruous.
- Yehudi Menuhin

"I enjoy life. I think I'll enjoy
death even more.
Life is too confusing."
- Cat Stevens

Music expresses that which
cannot be said and on which
it is impossible to be silent.
- Victor Hugo

"the more people smoke herb,
the more Babylon fall"

i believe in freedom for everyone,
not just the black man

music fight against the system
that teaches to live and die

We are all of one spirit
And one sprirt is all that is

Every gun that is fired,
every warship launched,
every rocket fired, signifies,
in the final sense,
a theft from those who hunger
and are not fed, those who are
cold and are not clothed. The
world in arms is not spending
money alone. It is spending
the sweat of its laborers,
the genius of its scientists,
the hopes of its children.

Author:
Dwight D. Eisenhower 1890-1969

Words are poor interpreters
in the realms of emotion.
When all words end, music begins;
when they suggest, it
realizes;
and hence is the secret of its strange,
inexpressible power.

Author: H. R. Haweis

Love never dies a natural death.
It dies because we don't know
how to replenish it's source.
It dies of blindness and errors
and betrayals. It dies of illness
and wounds; it dies of weariness,
of witherings, of tarnishings

The silence that guards the tomb
does not reveal God's secret
in the obscurity of the coffin,
and the rustling of the branches
whose roots suck the body's
elements do not tell the mysteries
of the grave, by the agonized sighs
of my heart announce to the living
the drama which love, beauty,
and death have performed

Author: Kahlil Gibran

YOU'LL NEVER KNOW

YOU'LL NEVER KNOW

You'll never know
How much your smile lights up the room,
Or your laughter fills my soul,
Making all the little problems of the day disappear

You'll never know
How much it means to me
When you do or say something thoughtful
and totally unexpected,
Usually just at the moment i need it most

You'll never know
How much pride I hold in my heart,
For the person you are and the things you do,
For your strength and your gentleness,
Your courage and your determination,
Your accomplishments and your dreams

You'll never know
How much I need you by myside
In the best of times and the worst of times,
And all the times in between

It really doesn't matter where we are,
Or what where doing
As long as we're together to share it all,
I love you with all my heart and soul,
You'll never know how much.......
