DARKNESS

DARKNESS

Orange colored sky
Seems like it's on fire
The sun hides beyond the horizon
As if falling into oblivion

Darkness slowly sets in
As cool breeze starts blowing
Light fades away
And comes the end of day

Darkness have blinded my sight

You can't see anything in the night
I looked around for a torch to light
When all you could see are the stars
And the moonlight

Deafening silence radiates my ear
My heart beats with fear
Worldly creatures they slowly hide
It's easier to be in the crib than outside

Unseen beings they rule the night
With full force at the stroke of midnight
The world sleeps with locked doors
While these beings party at this unholy hour

FINDING NO SOLUTION TO POVERTY
PROMOTING INEQUALITY
BREAKING HUMAN UNITY

BREAK DA WALLS OF BABYLON
AND RAISE THE FLAG OF MOUNT ZION
REDEEM OUR RIGHTS IN DIS PLACE
AND SAVE DA ENTIRE HUMAN RACE

STOP DA WAR AND CRUELTY
LET LOVE, RESPECT, AND UNITY
RULE OVER OUR COUNTRY
SO PEACE WILL REIGN FOR ETERNITY
